Overview

MiniVibe ("we", "our", or "us") is a remote control application for Claude Code. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our iOS app and web application.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in with Apple, Google, or GitHub, we receive your email address, display name, and profile photo from your identity provider. We use this information to identify your account and display your profile in the app.

Session Data

We temporarily store session information to relay messages between your Claude Code CLI and mobile/web clients. This includes:

  • Session identifiers and names
  • Working directory paths
  • Chat messages and tool outputs
  • Permission requests and responses

Usage Data

We collect aggregated usage metrics including token counts and session activity to provide analytics features and monitor service health.

End-to-End Encryption

MiniVibe supports optional end-to-end encryption (E2E). When enabled, your message content is encrypted on your device before transmission. Our servers cannot read encrypted message content - only you and your connected CLI can decrypt it.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the MiniVibe service
  • To authenticate your identity and secure your sessions
  • To relay messages between your devices
  • To display usage analytics in your dashboard
  • To improve our service and fix bugs

Data Retention

Session data is retained for 30 days after the session ends, then automatically deleted. Account information is retained until you delete your account. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Apple: For Sign in with Apple authentication
  • Google Firebase: For authentication and database services
  • GitHub: For Sign in with GitHub authentication
  • Service providers: Who help us operate our infrastructure
  • Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time

Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/WSS encryption for all communications, Firebase Authentication for secure login, and optional E2E encryption for message content.

Children's Privacy

MiniVibe is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
